SerialDDS project under test; controlled by my Dell laptop using a short wire 'antenna' and listening my Alinco DX77

  • DDS daughter card connector; I drilled a hole through the edge and soldered a #18 piece of solid copper wire and brought it up to pin 5. This supported the connector on the board. I hot glued it all after the other wires were in place.
  • LED installed, not required but I figured to hack the code and make some use for it.
  • The BNC connector; I drilled out one of the phone jack holes and drilled a new hole to match, then usen an existing hole for the ground lead. the RF out lead is in the air.
  • The female DB9 connector; for a straight through M-F cable to a PC, use two jumpers straight across (left side pin 2 to right side pin 2 and left side pin3 to right side pin 3. To invert for a Palm jumper right side pin 1 to 2 and right side pin 3 to 4 .
