DSCN7485 - Dave (W1DEC) operating 40 SSB. Rig is IC703, the FT817 in t he foreground is the VHF/UHF station the power for both rigs comes from two 55 AH gelcles in parallel feeding a W4RRY DC-DC converter that gives us a constant 13.7 volts and the power is distributred through a West Mountain "Rig Runner." The logging computer is an Apple Powerbook G4/867 running a web browser to our custom (by N1QO) MySQL database application running on a Linux server via wireless networking.
